Is 2+2 = 10?

There is a funny story about a little boy who was asked how much is 2 + 2, and after he answered that it is four, his Mom gave him 4 sweets as a present. Then he sighed: «I wish I'd better answer that 2 + 2 is 10!»

This is perfectly understandable that our kids usually learn to count things on the items they do really like such as cookies, fruits or toys. That is why finding such things to do the Math studying process more interesting is a real puzzle task for us, adults))

As for my child, I guess, that too much fun sometimes can be even bad for him because my son can feel amused and forget about boring numbers and hard- solving addition or subtraction tasks.

That is why I would like to thank the developers of the 2+2 Math for Kids game. I'm very impressed how the game with such simple, but nice graphic has so involved my beloved fidget, and he completed a task after the other as if it would be a real game, a «Labyrinth» or a «Snake». And a nice woman voice (I guess, it remained a voice of a Mom loving her kids) praised my son saying «Well done» or «Perfect answer. Congratulations!» for every right click, and this voice also regretted if something was selected wrong. In addition,I must say that the music playing in the background was really nice and helpful by concentrating on a task. My child asked to play more and more, and more games, although he already looked tired and wanted to sleep. And it was difficult for me to put him to the bed by promising that obviously we will sum funny animals tomorrow.

It all looks like you want to make a drooling baby again: last time it was some coloring software that devoured two precious hours of my Sunday evening, and now you make me count cute flies, distantly resembling the evil alien whatevers (dunno whether they are spacecraft or just huge space insects) in Galaxy Game. Not that I am complaining, on the contrary, I enjoy messing with these programs immensely. But it has put me somewhat disturbing thoughts about my IQ and mental health into my head…

To be honest, I sometimes can not break away from these children's games, so can I be involved!

You guys had better stay away from the MMORPGs.

I mean, if you are so quick at getting addicted to an arithmetic software for kids, what will happen to you, if you accidentally download 20 GBs of WoW or Lineage II once? I don't want you to die from dehydration.

Thank you, honey, I'll try to avoid all that. In fact, you're right: I used to be… well, yeah, however difficult it was to admit, — addicted to Lineage II for two years, so you've just hit the point. Moreover, I wish our CrazyMom to make sure her kid stays away from all that stuff, 'cause those things are literally destructive.

Well, once I gave WoW a try and was totally disappointed. Yeah, I spent two days killing the monsters, grabbing loot and the stuff, but then I realized I was totally bored with the monotony of the game.

I'll give the secret out: the most interesting part starts right after you have earned at least enough experience and gained all the necessary skills. Oh, you haven't heard it ;)

Oh God, I failed to develop the merriest addiction in my whole life… How should I live now?
