App wants you to share enemies on Facebook

A nice title, isn't it? It is well-known that Facebook has no “Dislike” button, but a new application for this social network encourages Facebook users to list people or things they dislike, then share them with like-minded haters as a way of bonding.

Among the app's most popular “enemies” are very familiar targets: politicians, Justin Bieber, the Internet Explorer browser, pop group Nickelback, social game FarmVille and, yes, Crocs.

The EnemyGraph app can be easily installed through Facebook. The idea of this app, writes EnemyGraph co-creator Dean Terry in a blog post, to counteract artificial culture of niceness, which encourages affinities but don't leave much food for thought and discussion.

Say, for instance, that you are crazy about 50 cent but one of your friends lists this band as an “enemy”, this app will send you a “dissonance report”, pointing out the difference and offering it up for further conversation.

So, what would you choose — “like” or “dislike”?:)

No, Inglas, I don't think so. Just look at how many reputable sources have reported this news back to 26 March (these are dailynews, CNN, Forbes, etc.)
In my opinion, this is another attempt to offer 'Unlike' button on Facebook. Have you heard about a petition signed by 3 million people called for this purpose? But still Facebook hasn't provided such a facility.
Nevertheless, I'm afraid that such an option would lead to new conflicts, which could have been avoided.
