Waterproof iPhone

Now you can take your iPhone with you for a dive. The iGills polycarbonate case is rated to protect your phone up to a depth of 130 feet.

Moreover, using the case’s depth and temperature sensors, the accompany app will let divers know when it’s time to come back for air. After users input various parameters, the app will keep track of depth, time underwater and nitrox levels. They can even set alarms to alert them of remaining oxygen supply.

How much? 329,99$.

A really nice thing to have. The only question I have is: If you were taking photos with your iPhone underwater (which is not the best variant to my mind) will you have enough battery left to make a call? Still it is a good variant for an emergency situation.

By the way, did you manage to read about how they made the manipulation conversion from buttons on the waterproof case to the touch sensitive iPhone?

I don't get it. Diving with your iPhone: What could be dumber? Underwater photos — with that camera!?
