Do we live in the present?

The title appears to sound a bit absurd, doesn't it? It turns out evident that we live in the present. But have you ever thought that it takes time for our brain to process information?

Sensory data reach our nerve centers at different speeds so our perception of the world looks like the TV broadcast. So no wonder the reflection can sometimes be misrepresented. To recheck, watch the video please :)

Probably I was just unlucky, but I seem to have lags with the video. Should the static cube fade in and out, so to say, or it should be always visible? And in the end the moving cube just flew up with no static one on the screen, which seems to be wrong too. Because of these bugs I couldn't enjoy the illusion the way I should have.

This is one of the most strange videos I've ever watched: I've got an illusion that I couldn't see any illusion at all. That's too bizarre!
