Smaller, Cheaper, Better Flash Memory from SanDisk

Samsung's SD Card

World's smallest 128Gb Three-bit Per Cell NAND flash memory chip was announced by SanDisk. The chip is backward compatible with certain product categories that use two-bit per cell NAND flash memory. The price per gigabyte for flash memory in near future will be further decreased due to technology's smaller size (19nm) and increased number of bits per cell.

Even more information is found in product's white paper: 128Gb 3-Bit Per Cell NAND Flash Memory on 19nm Technology with 18MB/s Write Rate and 400Mbps Toggle Mode.
